Ward Family Thanksgiving
We went to the little town of Ramona, Oklahoma for Thanksgiving like we do every year to see all of Brad's family. It's his Dad's side and we only see most of them once a year. It's really fun to hang out with them.
This year Marsha's family came from Dallas. We loved seeing them and hanging out with Kirsten.
After the big meal at the school cafeteria with the entire family. Brad's cousins all go to Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Eddie's house. They live in the country and have dogs and horses and a pond. It was cold out but Cole only wanted to be outside. He loved throwing rocks in the water.
Don's brother, Uncle Gary, was there this year. He's the one that was the OSU baseball coach for years. He looks so much like Brad's dad. It was hard not to stare at him and just think what Brad's dad would look like.
He loved teasing Cole. He chased him and played catch with him and talked to him about baseball. It really made us miss Don. I wish he was here to see our kids.
It was a fun day but the kids were really worn out. It's about a two hour drive so they slept a little on the way back.

As soon as we got home I went to Wal-Mart with Mom and Tiffany. We got there at 8:30 Thursday night and stayed (at Wal-Mart) until 6:00 the next morning. We sat in line for a special gift from about 9:30-5:00. We borrowed chairs from the camping section and "camped" out. Insane I know! We got everything we wanted and were very pumped. We ate breakfast with Steph and her family and then went to Old Navy. It was actually pretty fun but we are exhausted!

Typical Toddler
Cole enjoys the lifestyle of a typical toddler. He likes wearing his Nana's stylish reading glasses and settling into a good book.
He also likes viewing text messages (especially when it's pictures of Taya) and listening to ring tones with his Uncle Blake.Thursday, November 18, 2010

Steph Pics
Steph took pictures for us and the first picture kind of tells you the mood of the day. Cole screamed and was mad most of the afternoon. I really don't know how she even snapped a few of him not screaming. You can tell by Zoe and Blake's reactions that we all still think he's too stinkin' cute. So although it's weird, I think the pictures of him throwing his little two-year-old fits are pretty funny.
