Brad offered to take Zoe out to eat tonight but she said she would rather have B.L.T.s at home.
We celebrated a few days ago at Nana and Papa's house because Justin was in town. It was a last minute idea so we bought a cake at G&W. She blew out candles and unwrapped a gift. She's been asking for a Bitty Baby for months. We really couldn't imagine her with a doll because she's never been interested before, but she never swayed and really wanted one. She knows Nana well enough to know if she wanted it she would get it.
They tried to trick her by giving her a dollar in a card. She opened the card and was disappointed but handled it well. Nana couldn't do it so she immediately told her that wasn't her real present. She, of course, got the Bitty Baby with some starter assessories. She named the baby Bella and is obssessed with it! She takes it everywhere and treats it like a real baby. Bella is on a schedule and Zoe reads to her 4 times a day. Frankly, we are a little sick of hearing about Bella! You know how new moms are with their babies!
Happy Birthday, Zoe! I can't wait to celebrate with you! I was planning to take you out for a day at the mall, when you come visit us in Columbia... but if you'd rather have some items for Bella, I'd be happy to help with that, too! I can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Zoe. You're a smart girl, Brad vs. bacon is no contest.
